I have a question: Why, in almost all the photos of I.C.E. protesters, do you not see the nationalities of the people being affected or deported? It mostly looks like white people in the images and videos. Why is this? I believe that just shows the protests are more about the act of protesting and getting on TV than about the actual effect it’s having on undocumented people.

And what is the big deal about the resistance to having an ID to vote? I mean, I have to have an ID to get paid, pay taxes, buy and sell, drive a car, and buy alcohol. Just about everything I do requires an ID. So why is the left so against requiring one to vote? I’ve heard the theory that it’s to get undocumented people to vote, but I might be wrong!
