I just learned that in Google Maps,
you can see how busy a business is at the moment, look at past trends, and even see a prediction of how busy it will be by the hour. This is a little worrisome, but also very helpful!
I also found out that AI and my bank have “gotten married,” and I’m not quite sure how I feel about that yet. My bank can now predict when I’ll go to Jack’s for breakfast again and what my spending and balance will be. It’s crazy, but it could be very useful.
AI has become a major digital tool in my life—from teaching me how to align the front end of my van to helping me with health questions. It will even critique my paintings and give me advice on how to improve. For my latest painting, The Purple Train, I needed a reference photo, so I asked the AI to generate a purple train in a winter setting. After I painted from that reference, I asked the AI for a critique. It suggested that adding just a little yellow to the front of the train would really make it glow—and it was right!
As you may know, I’ve been writing a lot more posts lately. I’m not the best at grammar or spelling, but I just ask the AI to edit them for me, and it sends back a fully corrected version. This saves Kathy Rose a lot of time that she used to spend editing for me!
If you’d like help using any of these tools, just comment below and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
